Name: Zachary Fabricius
Grade: 7th
Why he is being honored: Zach was nominated by a Challenger teacher for:
"an outstanding job of being on task in classes, his maturity level, creativity, and for volunteering at an animals shelter on the weekend. Zach often goes above and beyond in classes and always respects teachers and peers."

Name: Rey Flores and Celeste Nunez
Grade: 8th
Why he/she is being honored: Rey and Celeste were honored by being chosen for the Catalina Island trip by 8th grade science. These two students were specially chosen due to their effort, attitude, and hard work!

Name: Sarah Houde
Grade: 7th
Why he/she is being honored: Sarah is being honored for her achievement in friendship and her effort to improve the lives of those around her. She is also honored for her courage and willingness to make the school a better place by running for Challenger School Secretary!
